We are all making some sort of carbon footprint on this earth—whether we like it or not. The things that we do, they do affect the world we live in and the world around us. There are a lot of things you can do though to greatly reduce your negative impact on the world. To learn about one way you can significantly reduce your personal wear and tear on the world around us, take a look at Samsung.

You can buy only biodegradable products or you can recycle things like batteries. You can buy a refillable water bottle instead of buying disposable water bottles you are going to throw away. You can get clothes and shoes from consignment shops instead of the trendiest stores in town. You can choose to buy cleaning products that are save on the environment instead of the ones that aren’t. Another great thing is buying from local businesses instead of big corporations.

There are so many things you can do for our environment to make a significant impact on it all around. If you have a printer, copier, scanner or fax machine, there is something you should definitely be doing but may not even know about—and that is recycling your toner cartridges when they are empty or have expired. While you may not think that this is a significant thing, toner cartridges—if not disposed of properly—can cause a lot of damage to the ecosystem.

Most manufacturers provide some sort of recycling program that you can get involved with. Samsung, for instance, makes recycling toners very simple with their S.t.a.r. program. All you have to do is pack your toners up, register on the Samsung website for a UPS shipping label and paste the labels on your package. Next, you just need to drop them off at your nearest UPS location or call UPS and request a pickup.
